Viva Las Vegas!

Well, today we arrived in Vegas. It's been a long day. As I am writing this it's 9:15pm Local, 12:15 home time. We've been awake since 4:30 am home time. The flights when pretty well. Our car rental also went pretty smooth. We've got a pretty nice Silver Chrysler Sebring Convertible. The first thing we did was get settled into the hotel room. Then we went and grabbed a bite to eat. Then we got showered and changed and went to the temple. It was nice, nothing truly spectacular, but pretty in it's own way, it's right on the side of the mountain, with nothing behind it except for the mountain as a background. Las Vegas is nice, but in all honestly it's kinda dirty and old. At night though it looks nice. The Strip looks really cool all lit up. We had dinner with Patti's old Mission companion. That was fun, we went to a place called Claim Jumpers, it was pretty good stuff. Now we are settling in for the night and watching Patti's favorite show, Big Brother. We'll have more to come later.
