Scrabble

I've been playing Scrabble since I was a little boy, with my parents. I've learned from some really good Scrabble players. Recently, several of us have taken to playing Scrabble on Facebook. Last night, as Patti and I were playing, she put down the word "Ooze" near the Triple Word Score. I laughed and said whichever one of us gets a B will be lucky. We then proceeded to do a couple of different words, and I said I think I have a B now. I was kidding, but it turns out I was right. I got mildly excited, but then as I looked at my letters I couldn't believe my eye. I had a word there! A cool word too! I started placing Tiles and Patti honestly believed I was kidding, no way was I going to use all 7 letters, and hit the triple word score, and get "Booze" on the triple word score as well! Sure enough, my limited knowledge of minerals paid off and I scored the highest point word I've ever gotten. As well as setting a personal record for highest scoring game. It was fun.
