On Birthdays and Fatherhood

Hmmm....26 years old. I distinctly remember being 12 yrs old and thinking that I'd never be 25. That it was super old. Now I'm 26. Nevertheless, I am happy with my life. I'm married to a beautiful and loving wife, and I have the most beautiful daughter in the world. I have nothing in my life to complain about. My wife got me one of the coolest presents. Orlando Magic tickets, in sec 102 row C seats 6 & 7. Fabulous seats. She also got me 4 Tom Clancy novels, so I have plenty to read. From my parents I received a new Hugh Nibley book, a Lite Cooking Book, a serving dish, and socks. My brother and sister-in-law got me the TMNT movie and money. Patti's parents gave me a check as well.
Being home with Katelyn for the last week has been very interesting. She's a handful! She definitely loves her mommy. We went and saw mommy twice for lunch over the last week. It's impossible not to love her more and more the more time I spend with her. It's amazing to watch her grow and learn, and become more aware everyday. I look forward to watching over the next few months.
