So, this morning at about 1:30 I was woken up with, "David? It's time to go.", so of course I was instantly awake and ready to go. Unfortunately, we were just changing rooms. But it's progress. Patti has started to be induced. They're giving her the drug through an IV adn she's having fairly regular contractions about a minute apart. But they are not very hard. We are waiting for her next exam to see how dialated she is. Last we checked it was 3cm, at 4 she gets the epiderul. That's when the fun will really begin.
As a side note, in the first room we had a bed for me, which i got to use for about an hour and a half. In this room, they have a reclining chair. Not a realy recliner, per se, but it lays out. This is where I tried to sleep most of the night. It was made difficult by random nurse visits and people trying to tell her about various things. Looking forward to breakfast though. :)
