I'm All Thumbs

So as some have heard, and some have not, I had an accident on Saturday. I was at work and installing a lock on a filing cabinet. I was using a screwdriver to bend a piece of the metal and to adjust a locking pin inserted in the lock. Well, the screwdriver slipped and I sliced open my thumb crossing right over the scar where I was stabbed by a knife(also at work, another story for another day). So I'm including a few pictures of the after party:
Now of the Hospital:

Now while I was at the hospital they asked me when my last Tetanus Shot was. I had to think about that one, but I said with a fair amount of confidence, "2001." Apparently that answer was not good enough, they saw fit to administer another one. I have to say, if I had a choice of slicing my thumb open again, or getting another Tetanus shot, I'd take the screwdriver any day. It really hurts! The nurse said it would probably ache for 4 - 5 days!

One interesting side note, I'm now awaiting an opportunity to shed a tear in my new workplace so I can officially say, "I've put my blood, sweat, and tears into this place".

Until then, things are looking good:
